That means that there is nothing to stop you taking a trip to see the beautiful countryside and places of interest in and around Hamburg!

All you need to know at a glance:
You can find information on and around the HVV on our website in German and English.
For those with a taste for exploring, we have lots of tips for attractive excursions.

Unbeatably practical when you are out and about:
With our HVV App you are only a few taps away from real-time timetable information - and not only that: you can see which ticket option is the right one for your route.

You prefer the personal touch?
Then our staff will be happy to advise you on the HVV-Infoline under 040-19 449.

Just the ticket for you

It doesn’t matter whether you are travelling on your own or in a group, frequently or only now and then, on short or long journeys – we have just the right ticket for you. And by the way, children up to the age of 6 don’t need a ticket at all on our services. And you can take up to 3 children (6-14) along free of charge on the 9 am day tickets.

There are special offers with extra benefits included for tourists.
With the Hamburg CARD you can travel anywhere in the HVV area as a single passenger or a group of visitors - and you get up to 50% reduction on the entrance to many tourist attractions. Or alternatively, there is the Hamburg City Pass. This is an all-inclusive entrance ticket to places of interest, museums and for tours of Hamburg, as well as your free access to the public transport services in the HVV.

Group tickets
Do you want to travel with a group of up to 5 persons? Then we have an especially attractive offer just for you – the 9 am Group Ticket. It often makes sense even if only two of you are travelling

Single and day tickets
For all those who only travel occasionally by bus or rapid transit. You can buy single and day tickets from the bus driver, at ticket machines, via App or in the HVV Online Shop to print out yourself. And tickets don’t need to be stamped and cancelled before travelling like in many German cities.

Mobility for everyone
We have put together a special information package for mobility-impaired passengers to help you when using HVV trains, buses and harbour ferries.

Do you want to rent a bike or are coming by bike or by car?
Bike+Ride is no problem in the HVV network – you can rent a bike at many rapid transit stations. Bikes can be taken along on the rapid transit trains and many bus lines with only a few restrictions. And why not leave your car at one of our many Park+Ride locations at a rapid transit or regional rail station?
